Oppo F7 smartphone was launched in India on last week with the company yet again targeting the selfie-obsessed users. While the Oppo F7 sports an iPhone X-like notch which was recently seen on the Vivo V9, the smartphone is almost similar to its competition from Vivo which also specialises in selfies as its biggest highlight. With Oppo launching its new smartphone in India, the comparisons will be drawn between the Vivo V9 and the Oppo F7 which are mostly similar packages though marketed differently. Both these smartphones are going on sale today and while the Oppo F7 is priced at Rs.21,990 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB version and Rs 26,990 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB version, the Vivo V9 will retail at Rs. 22,990 and comes with 4GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage.

There might be many similarities in the Oppo F7 and Vivo V9 like 19:9 display which replaces the 18:9 display seen on predecessors of both the smartphones. Both the companies also claim massive improvements in the quality of selfies which now boast artificial intelligence tech backing them. There are some differences as well like the Vivo V9 features dual cameras at the back while Oppo F7 comes with a single camera module. Oppo F7 vs Vivo V9: Display
The display is one of the features that definitely look similar on both the phones. They might measure slightly different on paper but sport a display notch which is common on both the Oppo F7 and Vivo V9. The Oppo F7 features a 6.23-inch full-HD+ display with 1080x2280 pixels resolution and sport an all-new 19:9 aspect ratio which means users will get extended screen space for multimedia content. The selfie camera on the Oppo F7 comes with f/2.0 aperture, HDR mode and packs Sony IMX576 sensor. There's a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash with f/1.8 aperture.

Oppo F7 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 21,990 (for the 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage) and will be available in India in Solar Red and Moonlight Silver colours. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version will be going on sale in India at Rs. 26,990. The phone will be going on sale starting April 2 via online channels while offline channels will have the phone on sale from April 9. There will be a third variant dubbed Special Diamond Black edition with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage priced at Rs. 26,990.
Compared to the Vivo V9, the Oppo F7 will be available at Rs. 22,990 and has been launched in just one variant. It will be also available via Amazon India and offline channels.
